I’ve been busy!

No other excuse. Open Studios in May kept me working in the studio a lot but as soon as that was done I began to focus on the end of the school year and the plans for the remodel of our kitchen and family room. When school was out, we took off for a wonderful 3 week vacation in Italy. All I can say is that it was awesome!

Then it was back home to face the mess in the kitchen and that has been going really slow. We are basically camping in the garage with the Coleman stove, microwave and refrigerator as we wait for the construction people to get to their parts. Ugh! My husband says we are never doing this again. I agree.

It seems like it’s going to take forever. I missed the Art Clay World Conference because I thought I would need to be here but I doubt that anyone would have noticed me missing. My studio is a mess because I’m using a part to store parts for the new cabinets and the new window so I’m not getting much accomplished there either. I just have to look forward to a new kitchen and a better space for teaching classes off my studio. That will be wonderful!
